Reigen's Dragon

What is Reigen's dragon named?
He's named 'her' Kiyo. Likely a reference to the story of Kiyohime.

How Big is Kiyo? How is she shaped?
She's about the size of a medium-large dog, and fairly bulky. She likes to wrap around Reigen's shoulders and waist. Since she's soft and feathery, Reigen quite likes keeping her in his lap while he's talking to people, since it's easier to fidget with her feathers than try and keep himself together.

Her body is extremely snake-like, the pelvis and shoulders very thin bones and the limbs fairly weak, though they offer her a dexterity to grip onto surfaces that her belly, since it is soft and feathery, cannot offer.

She has a pair of wings that resemble a bird of prey's wings, as well as flight feathers on her tail and where her pelvis is, meant to help her maneuver despite her long body. It's honestly mostly her magical properties that allow her to fly more than her body's structure.

Kiyo's Birth
Her egg was soft and leathery, and had a grey and yellow mottled spotted color to it. Reigen was kind of grossed out by the way it squirmed under his touch the first time he put his hand on it, but it hatched soon after. It was a pretty bizarre moment, for Reigen, who hadn't exactly taken care of infant animals... he got a cloth and gently fluffed her dry, picking her up in his hands and taking her with him into town.

On hatching, she was small enough to curl up in his hands. By the time she gets older, though, she'll be a good four feet long.

Kiyo's Colors
The normal colors for a ball python are a bit darker. The blacks are a bit of a starker contrast. But Kiyo is vibrant, bright gold, which amusingly reflects on just how vibrant Reigen himself is. She has large, vibrant plumage, the feathers on her face and hips especially long and easy for her to fan out expressively. Though, all of her feathers can puff up in an attempt for her to look much bigger than she really is.
